The world's first mini-PC with Ryzen AI Max+ 395

At the AMD Greater China Channel Summit, GMKTec announced the world's first AI mini-PC called EVO-X2. The event was attended by general managers and vice presidents of top companies. The CEO of AMD even left her autograph on EVO-X2, and some sources are already predicting the release of a Signature Edition.
Full specifications of the mini-PC AI have not yet been revealed. However, it is known that EVO-X2 is equipped with an AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor, and its performance exceeds that of the RTX 5080 graphics card.
AMD Strix Halo APU specifications:
- Max frequency 5.1 GHz;
- Zen 5 core architecture;
- Radeon 8060S graphics on RDNA 3.5;
- 80 MB cache;
- 16 compute cores and 32 threads;
- XDNA2 NPU with 50 TOPS performance.
GMKTec Design details
EVO-X2 has a rather large size for a mini-PC, approximately 5×4.5 inches. Since the company has distributed photos of the new product, you can see the design of the device. On the back panel, there are 3 USB-A ports, one USB-C, a power connector, an audio jack, an RJ45 port, HDMI, and DisplayPort. The front panel has a power button, audio jack, SD card slot, 2 USB-A ports, and a USB-C port.
