Powerful RTX 4090 gaming card will no longer be produced

According to current reports, the top-of-the-line GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card, which became available in October 2022, will be out of production this October.

Soon, the new RTX 5090 graphics card will replace the current leader in the gaming industry. The 4090 version is considered the benchmark among the existing options, despite some problems with power connectors, power consumption, and a high price.

The production of the video card will be stopped approximately in October of this year, and specifically the production of RTX 4090 and RTX 4090 D - which was developed directly for the Chinese market - will be stopped at the same time. After that, the old graphics card will still be available for quite a long period of time from the existing stock on the market, and the 5090 B and 5090 models are already planned to be sold in 2025. Experts predict an increase in the price of the RTX 4090 video card due to its demand in the AI segment. There may even be a temporary shortage in the AI industry.

The RTX 4090 was notable for its high price, large size, 450W TDP, and some problems with the power connector.

The new graphics card from NVIDIA is expected to have better speed, almost 48 percent faster than the previous version. The power consumption information for the RTX 5090 is not yet available, and different experts have different insights on this topic.
