NVIDIA has officially introduced the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti and RTX 5060 graphics cards, completing the first wave of its RTX 50 Blackwell GPU lineup. A second wave is expected early next year, bringing further memory upgrades.
Three Versions, New Memory Boost
The company announced three models. The base RTX 5060 comes only with 8GB of memory, while the RTX 5060 Ti is available in two configurations—8GB and 16 GB. All models use the GB206 GPU and now support GDDR7 memory with a bandwidth of 448 GB/s, a major leap over the previous generation’s 288 GB/s. This upgrade boosts performance by up to 56% compared to the RTX 4060 Ti.
Despite using the same GPU chip, specs differ across models. The RTX 5060 Ti features 36 streaming multiprocessors, while the standard RTX 5060 has 30. The Ti models also have more CUDA cores, higher boost clocks, and a larger L2 cache.
Pricing and Availability
The RTX 5060 Ti with 8GB memory costs $379, while the 16GB version starts at $429. Upgrading to double the memory costs just $50 more. Both will be available from partner brands starting tomorrow.
The standard RTX 5060 will launch in May, priced from $299. That’s the same entry price as the previous-gen RTX 4060, but now with better memory speed and improved performance.
With this release, NVIDIA aims to offer strong mid-range options for gamers and creators looking for better value and more power.
