Intel won’t be able to fix a fault of 13th and 14th generation processors

Intel announced the release of a microcode update for 13th and 14th generation processors, which won’t, however, fix the processors that are already affected.
The faulty microcode causes processors to request higher voltage levels, leading to potential overheating and damage. The update will be available in mid-August via BIOS updates from OEM manufacturers and Windows updates.
The fault may lead to irreversible degradation. It's not clear what particular kind of damage has led to malfunctioning, but the company promised to replace the processors of those who were already affected.
Also, according to some rumors, the issue may be due to oxidation in the 7nm process node, but Intel denies this is the cause of the failures.
Intel considers the changes in microcode to be a good solution, but the tests will still continue.
