Rumors have been confirmed that Intel plans to launch the processors in the fall, but ordinary users will get access to them only in 2026.
New Panther Lake roadmap
The company announced its updated roadmap and presented Core Ultra products at an event in China. In the first quarter of next year, Intel is going to launch Panther Lake chips. The mass availability of the product is scheduled for 2026, but manufacturers will be able to get access a little earlier - in the fall of this year.
From insider information, it became known that the Core Ultra 300 series will be launched according to a similar model to Lunar Lake. As for the Panther Lake design, it will not follow Lunar Lake. Lunar Lakes will be the last with a similar memory design and there are no plans for MoP.
In general, Lunar Lake has a good performance, if you do not take into account the intense competition in the market and some complaints about the launch. The advantages of this project are powerful graphics and fairly low power consumption.
The delay in the release of Panther Lake was previously explained as the result of the number of usable chips, but this information can neither be confirmed nor denied at this time.
