Debian 12.9 release

The first stable version of Debian 12 was released in 2023. Debian 12.9 was released on January 11 of this year and will be available for 9 architectures and specifically will support PowerPC 64, Intel IA-32/x86, ARM64, ARMv7, ARM EABI, mips64el, AMD64/x86-64, mipsel, and IBM System z.
Updates and Troubleshooting
The new Debian release includes approximately 38 updates to improve vulnerabilities and 72 updates to fix stability issues. Version 12.9 consists of some changes related to the user environment and some modifications to the graphical stack.
Package-related changes are mainly related to tzdata, ansible, qemu, intel-microcode, and others. In addition, the tk-html3 and criu packages have been removed.
Installation builds with version 12.9 are also available, for those users who need to boot from scratch. All systems that have been regularly upgraded will also receive updates that will be in the new Debian 12.9 version. For security updates, they will be available through the security.debian.org service.
