AI in Google Docs and Gmail has been made free, while the price of Workspace has slightly increased

Google has announced that most products will have free access to the AI feature. Specifically, we're talking about Meet, Gmail, Sheets, Docs, and other apps. At the same time, the price of Workspace plans will slightly increase.

As for the price of Workspace, users will not overpay for the product, as the price will increase from $12 to $14 per month of use.

Before the changes in the company's pricing policy, users were paying $20 per month for Gemini Business, now this plan is free.

The AI features in Workspace provide access to meeting notes, writing tools, and video/table designs. There's also access to Gemini, a bot that is in turn useful for finding the right material, and other standard features.

AI Copilot Pro will also be part of the Microsoft 365 subscription, and will not be paid for separately from it. This innovation is already available in some regions and not for all subscription types. Pacific region users will experience a significant increase in the price of Microsoft 365 due to the AI functionality.
